Module 6: Civic Participation

This module aims to clarify what is Civic participation; civil participation is essential for a good functioning of society and central to achieving ever higher standards of social and human development. All people have the power to change their world and the place where they live a little, and thus have a more satisfactory way of life, especially when they are in a host country, as is the case with migrants.
It is intended with this module that the migrants know what is civic participation and other concepts that concern this area. It is intended that they know what is done in the host country and what steps to take to be part of a participatory community. It is also intended that the migrants know the economic / social / cultural reality of the community / region where they are inserted, in order to actively participate in it.
